An Air France flight en route to Paris from Budapest diverted to Munich after reporting a suspected electrical fire on 27 August 2025.
Air France flight AF1695, an Airbus A321-100, had departed from Budapest Ferenc Liszt International Airport (BUD).
The flight was a scheduled service bound for Paris Charles de Gaulle Airport (CDG).

As the flight approached Salzburg, Austria on flight plan track, flight crew reported a suspected electrical fire.
According to The Aviation Herald, the suspected fire was reported to be in the aircraft’s aft galley.
Following the report, flight crew elected to make a precautionary diversion to Munich. The flight subsequently landed without further incident on runway to 6L Munich Airport (MUC).
The landing was made just under 30 minutes after the diversion was carried out. Following its landing, the aircraft was taxi clear of the active runway and parked at a nearby remote stand.

Following departure, the flight had set course normally, climbing to flight level FL320 for the westerly service to Paris.
