CAT 2024 results to be announced soon, check expected date and yearly trends

Candidates across the country are awaiting the results for the Common Admission Test (CAT) 2024 conducted by IIM Calcutta. The results are expected to release soon.

As per past trends, the results will likely be available by December 20. Candidates can check their results on the official website, iimcat.ac.in, once they are announced. There is, however, no official confirmation on the result. Aspirants are advised to stay updated by regularly visiting the website.

CAT 2024 Exam Overview

The CAT 2024 exam was held on November 24, with about 2.39 lakh candidates appearing for the test at various exam centres across the country.

The provisional answer keys were released on December 3, with a window for submitting objections until December 5, 2024.

Expected CAT 2024 Result Date

The official notification had earlier mentioned that the CAT results are expected to be released by mid-January 2025. However, based on historical trends, it is anticipated that the results will be out between December 18 and 20, 2024.

Details on the Scorecard

Once the results are out, candidates can download their scorecards from the official website. The scorecard will contain the following details:

• Registration number/user ID
• Candidate’s name, category, and gender
• Date of birth
• Exam date and time
• Contact details (email and phone number)
• CAT scaled score (overall)
• CAT section-wise score
• CAT percentile score (overall and section-wise)
• CAT score validity

In case of discrepancies, candidates must immediately contact the concerned authorities for rectification.
