Meizu 21 PRO Official Now

In today’s evening, Meizu officially released its last traditional smartphone – the Meizu 21 PRO, at a special event. Officially, the machine represents the pinnacle of Meizu’s smartphone era, reaching the peak level of Meizu’s history in all aspects, and brings AI capabilities as a groundbreaking transitional product to open the All in AI strategy.

Introduction

In terms of appearance, the Meizu 21 PRO maintains its iconic minimalist design. It features a flat design both front and back, a right-angle solution for the center frame, and a rear camera in a minimalist vertical arrangement. Available in four body colors – Starry Night Black, Phantom White, Glacier Blue, and Laurel Green – with Laurel Green being Meizu’s first vegan leather body option. Notably, the Meizu 21 PRO continues the tradition of Meizu’s pure white panel version, coupled with four equally narrow edges, creating stunning visual effects.

The front boasts a 6.79-inch screen with a 21:9 ratio and a 74mm ultra-narrow body, allowing for smooth one-handed operation. It is supplemented with Flyme exclusive one-handed optimization, supporting side sliding fast open applications, and global drop-down hover.

The screen is made of BOE’s new generation screen materials, with a 2K+ Ultra HD resolution, 120Hz LTPO adaptive refresh rate, 2160Hz high-frequency PWM dimming, and SGS Low Blue Light Eye Protection certification, ensuring prolonged viewing comfort. It also supports wide-area ultrasonic under-screen fingerprint recognition, with a recognition area 9 times larger than the Meizu 21, unlocking in just 0.08 seconds, even with wet hands, and featuring a heart rate detection function.

In terms of imaging, the Meizu 21 PRO boasts the strongest image capabilities in Meizu’s history, featuring a 50-megapixel OV50H domestically produced lens for the main camera, with OIS+EIS hybrid anti-shake, complemented by a 13-megapixel 122° ultra-wide-angle lens and a 10-megapixel 3x optical telephoto lens.

Featuring Meizu Titan Glass 2.0, the device is 200% more resistant to drops and supports IP68-level dust and water resistance, making it suitable for daily use without worry. At its core, the Meizu 21 PRO is powered by a Snapdragon 8 Gen3 processor, supplemented by LPDDR5X + UFS 4.0, offering strong performance in daily use, gaming, and unlocking more AI functions with Flyme.

To better adapt to AI, the Meizu 21 PRO is fully open to developers, providing system permissions and API documents, allowing developers to request user data and access the processor’s AI algorithms, providing users with a comprehensive AI experience. Additionally, the Meizu 21 PRO combined with Flyme AI offers numerous functions including AI Build, AI-assisted input, AI applet, AI gallery, Aicy voice, and enabling functions such as text-born picture, magic elimination, and picture expansion.

With a built-in 5050mAh high-density durable battery, the Meizu 21 PRO supports 80W wired fast charging, and 50W wireless fast charging, and is compatible with various protocols such as QC4+, PD 3.0, and PPS.

Furthermore, the device is equipped with an infrared remote control, NFC, dual ultra-linear speakers, mEngine Ultra lateral linear motors, and a specially tuned 500+ system vibration experience.

Regarding pricing, the Meizu 21 PRO offers three storage combinations: 12GB + 512GB priced at 4999 yuan, 16GB + 512GB priced at 5399 yuan, and 16GB + 1TB priced at 5899 yuan. It will officially go on sale at 10:00 on March 2nd.
