Wizz Air has reached a significant milestone, welcoming its 80 millionth passenger at London Luton Airport (LLA).
This achievement highlights the airline’s strong presence and growth in the UK’s aviation sector. The landmark passenger boarded a flight to Palma de Mallorca, Spain, on August 11, 2025.

Since establishing its base at LLA in June 2017, Wizz Air has grown to become the airport’s largest operator.
The airline now serves nearly 30 countries from Luton, connecting passengers to popular destinations like Tirana, Prague, Budapest, and Bourgas.

This £12 billion initiative focuses on enhancing passenger satisfaction. A key feature, “My Journey,” is a new in-app tool designed to help travellers easily track and manage their flights from their mobile devices.
